Default Does Anyone Else Correctly Orient Their Discs?

The first thing I do when I get a new Blu-ray is open it, and if necessary spin the disc around so the label is oriented correctly. I also make sure it's correctly oriented when putting it back after watching it.

Anyone else?

Yes I also adjust the cover so the spine looks neat on the shelf, and the cover is equidistant from the top and bottom and not exposed.
Also put the main feature disc in the most accessible hub and any special features disc or DVD go in the least accessible hub.

This goes back to vinyl for me. Always oriented my LPs and 45’s. Even my 78’s! Carried it on through to my vast CD collection and now my DVD/Blu/4k gets the same treatment.

Yes. Labels must be read straight when coming out of the cover. Always side A and always rotated properly.

I must add this form of OCD probably adds to the completist in me also.

Guilty of this when I buy something new.

little process of mine when I unwrap a new Blu-ray

* adjust spine to it's centred and the inset isn't hanging over the plastic film
* move discs around so the film is always accessible as soon as I open the packaging
* sort out any booklets, folded posters, postcards etc. any promo leaflets are put at the bottom of the pile (so when I open it, it's film disc and some artwork from whatever printed materials has been included)
* remove any internal security stickers

*

That happened the moment we signed up to a forum that discusses Blu-rays

I do this. Especially since I ditch most slipcovers.

First thing I do is look at each disc to make sure there are no scratches or fingerprints. Then I line them up just as mentioned here.
