Default Blockbuster still getting HD DVD?

I was at a Brick and Mortar Blockbuster last night and they had Shrek the Third on HD DVD, no transformer though. Are they still slowly getting a few HD DVDs?
I mean their blu-ray section was still 3x bigger.

i dont know about the rest of you guys but i've been ridiculously unimpressed with every blockbuster in my surrounding area... i've checked three here in the west island and their blu ray sections are maybe a wall with about 10-15 titles on average and with an equal amount of HD DVD... not to mention all of mine don't sell newly released anything thats hidef... and the old stuff is still ridiculously espensive. dont even get me started on videotron..... both in my area have 3 bd titles and no hddvd and zero for sale on each format

by the way im in the west island of montreal so the ones i went to were the beaconsfield and kirkland blockbusters on st-charles and the blockbuster on st-johns

The press release they gave a few months back stated that the few hundred stores that had Blu-ray and HD-DVD at that time would continue to support HD-DVD as well as Blu-ray. The 2,000 or so additional stores that they'd be sending Blu-rays to would be the Blu-ray only stores.

At the beginning of the year Bbuster decided to test out Blu-ray and HD DVD at their top 250 stores. In June they decided to expand only blu-ray, but they still carry HD DVD in those original 250 stores.

All the BlockBusters here in the UK only do Blu-ray and all the ones I have been to in Bristol have a good selection too

the Blockbuster closest to me has over 80 Blu-ray titless...but this is one of the 250 locations that had Blu-ray to begin with and still carries HD-DVD...

they have a back wall of the most popular and most recent titles on both formats that takes up 1 1/2 4 ft sections each....and then Blu-ray hasn an additional three 4ft. sections of Blu-ray...

My Blockbuster in Minnesota has two shelves of new Blu-ray releases and 4+ shelves of the old stuff... no sign of HD-DVD. My friend had rented at another Blockbuster that had one shelf and 3+ shelves of the old stuff.

Yes, they are. But I've heard that Netflix has a much better HD-DVD selection.

Blockbuster Online has tons of Blu-ray's but whenever I put them on my Queue, they are usually in the "Long Wait" category, which tells me that they are being rented out at rates well beyond what Blockbuster was anticipating.

It must be one of the original 250 test stores, those still carry both formats.

The Blockbuster near me doesn't carry BD at all... I'm just buying the ones I want. I appreciate having a movie collection more than renting.

My blockbuster near me has finally gotten it's act togather and added a good 50+ movies and now have 4-5 wall sections devoted for blu's.
