Blockbuster and HD DVD

I was under the impression that Blockbuster Video had said no to HD DVD.

For the first time in probably 3 years, I walked into my local blockbuster to see if they were renting any HD movies, since a lot of reports on here say some do and some don't.

To my absolute surprise, I found both Blu-ray and HD DVD to rent. The entire HD rental section was one single wall unit, with 4 shelves of blu-ray movies and 3 shelves of HD DVD.

There was also an endcap with both Blu and HD DVD for sale on it, although there were probably 15 blu titles and only 4 HD DVD titles.

What gives with this? It's a canadian BBV, but I would think it was all the same franchise.
