Hi all, first of all I apologize if this is not the right forum to post this question but I am not able to post this message at the PC forum because I am still a new member.
I am thinking of buying either an internal or external Blu-Ray drive but I am wondering if my laptop is fast enough to play Blu-Ray. Here's the spec: Sony SZ laptop 2.33 GHz Core 2 Duo 3GB RAM GeForce Go 7400 (64 MB Dedicated Video RAM). 128 MB shared under Windows XP. 1GB shared under Windows Vista. 13" monitor (1280x800 native resolution). I am only interested in watching the DVD with the built in laptop monitor. My concern is the Video Card. Will a 64MB Dedicated Video RAM enough to play the movie at 720p? I tried to run Power DVD advisor but the status of my Video Card is unknown. Thanks in advance for any response. |
