New Blu Ray Laptop won't play DVD's?

I see the AR11s has been replaced by the AR21s

See the note that it doesn't play VIdeo? Just Data only?

Surely this is an error on microanvika's part? What would the point of that be?

my AR11S plays BD Movies(including american ones,and my region is UK)
but i had to update my software from sony vaio site before it did play it

Dognosh,

Are you saying UK AR11S are region free? I seem to recall you can swap
regions a max of 3-4 times then it will be set for the last selected region.
Never tried the BD yet due to limited films in the uk.
