I've been viewing this site and HD-DVD.com trying to figure out which format to go with for over a month coming across many informative post from both sites but one really stood out about WM , HD-DVD ,movie downloads and comparing specs.

I followed that same path over the summer and bought my 60G PS3 in October. You will NOT regret your decision. Of course your bank account may fell it. I've bought 15 or so Blu-rays in the last week... The upconversion on the PS3 is good, but wow, it's tough to watch some movies after seeing 1080p at work..

Welcome and enjoy!

congrats. I just hope all of the adopters are just like you, wisely reviewing both formats then decide, not blindly buy a player because it's cheap.

Welcome to the Wonderful World of Blu. And regardless of which decision you made, I'm glad to see that you made one based on facts. Even if you had chosen HD-DVD, I'd fully support it as long as you made it on facts.

There's only 2 things I really hate about this war:

1. All the mis-information.
2. I can't buy all the movies I want on the format I want (yet).
