I have an Onkyo 705/ 7.1 speaker setup, with a PS3 for Blu-ray.
All connected with HDMI. To avoid a 2nd posting, I have searched for my answers but have gotten a headache from the different opions. How or what do I need to setup to get Dolby HD or lossless audio. Last night my family watched national treasure. Looked good and sounded great. When a hit select on the ps3 it said it was dolby hd but on the onkyo no dolby hd light came on. What should i have setup bitstream or pcm? Should I be running an optical cable for sound? Thanks in advance for your patience. P.S. Not a kid but an electrical engineer who thought he new something before all this!! ![]() ![]() |
