As awesome as that would be to have this HBO will have a jacked up price of like $300 for the complete series on blu.

Dude, this show had the coolest guest appearences all the time.

Mina Suvari redefined herself on this show and she did it with class too.

Awesome experience every Sunday for...what...5..6 years???

I loved it. Hated the final episode, but that was just one episode ya know.

Great show...will be waaaaaaaay expensive Blu, but still great.

I already have them on DVD and they were super expensive for standard DVD.

Despite what it would cost, I would find a way to replace my SD discs of the show. My wife and I watched the entire series in the span of two months! IMHO, this is one of the greatest shows of all time. Yet, as others have mentioned, the entire series would be quite pricey.

They just did it for THE WIRE at a reasonable price, and awhile back with DEADWOOD. it's not entirely a longshot...

On streaming sites only seasons 2-5 are in HD so maybe there's a need to remaster season 1, which could be a hold up/cost issue

Only seasons 3-5 are available in HD. To my knowledge, seasons 1-2 were edited and finished in SD, so that's only 2 seasons in need of an HD remaster, it could definitely happen.

They re-did all of The Wire, I don't see why they wouldn't re-do two seasons of Six Feet Under, which was an even more successful show for them. The question is whether it will ever end up on disc. Hopefully the Sopranos and Wire sets sold well.

This is one TV series I couldn't get into at all because it was too morbid, and depressing to the point it wasn't entertaining. I don't like TV shows and movies that put me in a somber mood. Whenever I'm watching movies or broadcast television, I want to be entertained not depressed. I have attended a lot of funerals in real life, and I don't need to watch a TV series based on a mortuary business and morticians.

Same thing when I rewatched it last year, the 4:3 framing is so specific for this show that I'd hate to see the first 2 seasons opened-up.
