Vacancy with Dolby True HD? When was it released? - Blu-ray Forum

Has anyone ran across a copy of vacancy on blu ray with Dolby True HD?.. I recently purchased a new sealed copy off ebay and it has that feature plus alternate ending..When did this one come out? I thought it only has PCM Audio thanks

Is it a US release? Who's the distributor? This was re-released in US by Mill Creek but in a double feature with Identity, so I'm guessing it's not that one. Maybe a foreign release.

It was a horror pack (https://horrorpack.com) mystery movie a few months ago... maybe that's where the seller got it from?

Would that explain the different features though (I'm not familar with Horror Pack)? dvdcompare says the Sony original has an alternate opening instead of an alternate ending, though that could be a typo, since bluray.com calls it an alternate ending. But both agree that it has PCM instead of TrueHD. Maybe the original poster was mistaken.

This move is "up there" in the conversation for worst movie I ever saw in the theater. Me and friend almost walked out.

It is indeed an alternate ending, not opening. I have fixed the dvdcompare page.

Thanks, that was quick. I see you left the UK edition as "alternate opening". Is that due to lack of confirmation, or is it indeed an alternate opening?

Lack of common sense of me not looking at that release. Will fix shortly. I have added Vacancy to the list of titles that needs looked at again as it has been a long time since that page was last updated and it most certainly isn't up to the standard we work at these days.
