Default Just a thought....

Not trying to insult the makers of this great website but....I feel this forum is spread out a little to thin. There seems to be a couple of topic's that could be merged into one, at least for the time being untill this place grows a little more. Another thing, I feel the pages are a little short... Not sure if thats possible to make them longer or not. Also, on the main page with the news, I wish it had more news... I have to goto 4-5 different sites to get all the news(dvdtown, highdefdigest, digitalbits ect ect) It would be nice to go to one place and get my daily BD fix... Just my feedback... Thanks

I also wish the front page was updated more often. Even if it is not any"big" news.

It seems to be getting a little better, but sometimes it goes a whole month with no news....

news moves so fast, they tend to only put the really big stuff there.
the rest is generally in the forums posted daily usually (atleast mon-fri)

What Brian said, we have chosen to only display the big news on the site. The site has been pretty static for a long time, however, we are in the process of upgrading and rewriting the whole site, everything will be database driven (and integrated with vbulletin) and members will be able to post their own news and comment on just about everything on the site (players, recorders, writers, movies etc).

Shamus:

Thanks for the feedback, you're completely right that the pages are a bit short. I've updated the forum so you will now get 20 replies per page instead of 10.

A lot of threads could probably be merged, unfortunately neither me nor Marwin have a lot of time to administer the site since we're busy upgrading it. We also only have 1 moderator, nyg, who's has done and is doing a great job, but his time is a bit limited too, so we're just about to add more moderators.

Let us know if there's something else =)
