Default BD Studios and their current stance(s)?

Disney seems to be having quite impressive sales numbers for many of their titles coming out on BD, with some achieving numbers higher than expected. Disney from what I have seen/read, seems to be the most, if not, one of the most pro-Blu-Ray studios in the BD camp given all their "tours" that they have held lately and their promotion of the format in various aspects. Furthermore, Disney has always given that their primary reason of choosing Blu-ray was giving the consumer the highest quality media possible even though we all know that it all comes down to what will make them money. Anyways, where does Disney stand at the moment? Are they still the dedicated Blu-ray supporting they have always been or does anyone sense any deviation for Disney, perhaps even being neutral?

Now on to Fox. I do not know much about Fox's ties to Blu-ray, however, from what I have read, it seems that they dedicated themselves to Blu-ray due to the BD+ protection on the format. I would like to know if that is the primary reason as to why FOX is with Blu-ray or are there other property rights they hold to Blu-ray?

Next is Sony. Although the BD camp is a consortium of multitudes of CE companies and Film Studios, I believe Sony is the primary reason as to the development of Blu-ray right? I know that they lost out on the royalties that would have afforded had VHS not won along with DVD which ended up in Toshiba's pockets right? Well, besides the royalties Sony earns if BD becomes the final format, what other benefits does Sony get out of it besides the royalties and perhaps bragging rights?

Anyone want to fill in on Lionsgate?

Feel free to comment on other aspects with the respective studios on what else they have common to Blu-ray, etc.

Thanks for your input.
