Default I just had the greatest idea for a game!!!

An American Revolution FPS
I wanna get my musket action on!!!
The Redcoats are coming! The Redcoats are coming!

I'm sure there's one out there somewhere. I just thought it would be the slowest fps ever, and couldn't help but laugh a little.

Don't fire untill you see the whites of their eyes!!! there would be allot of hand to hand bayonet action.

Sure, until the time travelers show up loaded with 25th century weaponry.

Considering that, if you want to make it realistic, there really weren't a lot of guns available back then, and the fact that it took an eternity to reload a musket, I really don't think this would be very fun.

Not to mention they used formed regiments. The game would consist of you marching across a field in formation and shooting other people.

In the Battle of New Orleans the Brits had heavy losses when a regiment made a wrong turn and ended up walking perpendicular to the line of fire. Yea, there wasn't any bobbing and weaving to avoid gunfire.

This is why I found it to be funny. I wouldn't really want this kind of game.

You could do other missions as well such as dumping tea in Boston Harbor. Play Paul Revere and warn towns that British are coming.

The History Channel series of FPS games has been doing similar titles for a while, you may want to look into them, but from what I have read and seen, they are mediocre at best.

I personally am sick of old-school shooters and want more current/modern stuff like CoD4. I love that game!
