Hello,
First: If a blu-ray movie is in 1080p and my TV will only do 1080i will it still play at 1080i or will it go down to 720p? If it downscales, why does it do this? Why wouldn't it just do 1080i if 1080p is unavailable? Second: Why do some movies have different bit rates? For example, 28 Weeks Later has a bit rate of 37MBPS and The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen is 16MBPS. Does this effect image quality? Third: Why do some movies have different widescreen ratios? For example, 28 Weeks Later is 1.85:1 and The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen is 2.35:1. What effect does this have, if any, on image quality? I may have some more questions later, but that's all I could think of at the moment. Thanks everyone! BrandonB Last edited by BrandonB; 12-29-2007 at 12:14 AM. |
