Question Want my own anime + cartoons H.T

As I haven't seen proper entry (or at least couldn't find or those were old supposedly anyway), decided to create this one.

Q:
As far as I'm aware, anime quality depends on 4 things:
a) hardware -> the newer the better only (or is there more to consider while buying a pc?) someone said freesync monitor = amd but g-sync = nvidia.;
b) codecs -> someone said K-lite +latest madvr+ReClock is a win;
c) monitor ->which one will be better for watching it??:
-for sure it has to be 10 bit
-IPS/VA?
-LED/OLED/LCD?
-most BD series are 1080p (but some 2k or even 4k + having ps4pro with 4k games would be cool to consider)
-g-sync?
-high refresh rate?
-strong contrast
-hdr (someone said it must be HDR10 wtf is that)
-pleasing colour reproduction (with generous colour gamut)
-light matte screen 32 or 27 inches right?
Found these for now:
EIZO FORIS FS2735
EIZO EV2785-WT
HP Spectre 32 4k Studio
LG 27UD88-W
LG 32UD99-W
LG 27uk600-w
LG 27uk650-w
LG 27uk850-w
Acer S277HK
AOC C4008VU8
BenQ EW3270U
BenQ EW277HDR
BenQ EL2870U
Projector instead??? Laser ones are pooping up so yeah
d) good encodes

So what would be Your recommendation for this home cinema, to watch anime + cartoons in best picture & sound (less important to me but I heard Dolby Atoms in nice)?

Saving money for new machine.

Thanks~!

I'm not talking about illegal stuff but BD.
Give guy a chance, without jumping to assumptions & off-topic.
Being confused and using the setup from 2012 I'm desperate to obtain some info.
This seems to be most suitable website for it.

Anime isn’t 4K now, so it’s all 1080p or lower, so a 1080p TV or monitor is fine.

Blu-ray is 8 bit encoding with AVC at 24 frames per second.

The person I been waiting for, Your entries are very rich in interesting content -thanks for that!

Thinking of 4k one due to acquired Gundam series + want ps4 pro + netflix HDR 4k.
All inspired from here but if there is no proper 4k monitor for animu then I will stick with lower resolution tho.
Oh ok in 8bit, didn't know that. There was a trend on the internet to encode in 10bit so I was confused ekhm never googled the info for BD.

Still, as I wrote A to D, it needs a proper answer for all anime freaks

For talk about Blu-ray encodes, see 'The Anime Blu-ray Video Quality Thread'. Japanese Blu-rays will usually offer the best picture quality, but some of the cheaper international BDs, particularly the Italian BDs from Dynit, can give the JP BDs a run for their money.

Dynit BDs are usually just as good as the JP BDs, but some also have better picture quality than the JP BD, such as Puella Magi Madoka Magica. There are also a few UK/AU BDs of Aniplex titles that have same encode as the Aniplex/Aniplex of America version.

As for PC viewing, madVR is the undefeated champion. It doesn't tamper with the picture out of the box and it also features a good set of image enhancement options if you want to reduce color banding or other problems. I used it on MPC-HC today to watch a self-made backup of my Italian Macross Plus Blu-ray with custom English subtitles.

Well thanks!
So it doesn't matter if I buy 1080ti or 2080ti or lower, same goes to processor, motherboard etc.etc.?
Also You use madvr only without K-lite and it gives nice results? Cool!
What monitor would U recmd though?

@down
Thanks plasma dude. Know this option but nah thanks.

This probably won't help you, but I watch my anime on a 55" plasma TV, which I like for it's deep blacks, wide viewing angles (no color/contrast shift), pulse-type display technology (less motion blur) and general analog-like feeling. I hope it'll last until 4K anime becomes a real thing and OLED displays get cheaper (or possibly micro-LED if that ever becomes workable).

If you watch in a darkened room, OLED is clearly better than LCD.

A projector only makes sense for its large picture size, in my opinion. Image contrast is worse than with displays, projectors make noise, you need a high-quality projector screen, etc.

Another reason to get 4k screen now
youtube.com/watch?v=8trN-XdP0SA
If it managed to chance some random movie, why not anime?

You don't need a particularly powerful setup to run madVR with 1080p content. I use it on an old low end laptop from 2011 hooked up to my TV and it runs my BD backups without issues.

However, 4K video with HDR is a different story. I think that requires a HDMI 2.0a compatible GPU/Motherboard/processor setup.

I don't use K-lite, but I do run some other stuff alongside, such as ReClock for matching the video speed to the refresh rate (also useful for slowing down PAL video to original speed).

Why would one need a codec pack to watch Blu-rays?

I'm hyped for laser projectors but so expensive;///
To be honest, have the opportunity to spend money on myself from a very long time period and watching anime in best quality was always my dream. Just that.
Thanks for future help in this topic

This is where you want to ask. Just because you have Anime in the title, doesn't make it Anime related.
