Question Got a PS3 at best buy today need help w/audio

I have an Onkyo reciever w/optical and 5.1 ch analogue inputs. How\what way should I set up the audio as? Should I buy some 5.1 analogue cables???? Do I set up the audio one way for games, then another way for movies????? Also I thought it was supposed to come with 'Talladega Nights' It doesn't have any lossless audio decoeding capabibilities does it? Does it have 5.1 analogue outs,to pass pcm w/decodeing? I'm waiting till my brother comes over to help me out if you were wondering about all the questions.

There is no 5.1 analogue outputs only optical/HDMI and the movie was in the first 500000 sold.

Default Talladega Nights

The Talladega Nights Blu-Ray disc that came with the PS3 is the P3-13 version running at 108 minutes. The version that was released in stores was the unrated version runnning at 122 minutes and the unrated version is mutch better then The PG-13 version in my book.As for the analog 5.1 it's to bad Sony did not put that on The PS3 as the PCM tracks are realy nice, but I think The Dolby Digital tracks are nice on The Blu-Ray discs as well.

Default Use a Toslink cable

Why not just use a Toslink (optical audio) cable? That's how I'm planning to connect my newly acquired PS3 to my Sony sound system. I'll use HDMI direct to my 46" Hi-Def LCD, then optical audio (toslink) out of the PS3 to my sound system.

How good is the sound over optical compared to dvd, as I hear optical is a fixed standard. I'm kinda of a sad panda now I was hopeing that there would be some way to get the LPCM and advanced audio out of the PS3 other than hdmi as I don't have any plans on upgrading my reciever any time soon and wanted to hear the NIN beside you in time blu-ray disc in uncompressed audio.

The lossy tracks are better than DVD. Dolby Digital is maxed out at 640kpbs (it can also be lower than that but so far nobody's done it) and DTS is at 1.5Mbps.

No way you can listen to NIN's TrueHD soundtrack without upgrading your receiver to a HDMI one. Choose well.

sadly it's only a BD-25. I can't imagine why it isn't a BD-50, but it's not.
