Default Road Runner regular vs. turbo for online gaming

Hello,

I am about to order Road Runner for my new apartment primarily to be used for online gaming. I have the option of regular Road Runner (it doesn't say the speed) or Turbo Road Runner (8mbps) for $10 more per month. Does anyone here have experiences with these services? Is the normal Road Runner sufficient for online gaming, or do I need Turbo?

Where I'm at regular rr service is 5mbps. Keep in mind, thats the maximum you'll get (same as the 8mbps). Even if you get the upgrade, I'm not sure you're guaranteed to get over 5.

At my old apartment, the regular service was great and always fast, even with 2 computers on the same network. Now, despite it being the same service, I live about 2.5 miles from my old apartment in another apartment and have trouble with the speed of the connection sometimes.

In short, the regular road runner service should be fine. If you think its not, you can always add the speed boost a month or so later.
