Default Let's Discuss "Weird" Movies

Hello all,

I generally don't like to use the term "weird" to describe movies, as I feel it dismisses the idea behind the movie. A bit of a simplified way to describe something, if you don't quite understand it.

Having said all that, I do feel there are a few films that kind of fall under the "weird" category. Some notable examples include Suspiria (both versions), Midsommar, Valerie and Her Week of Wonders, The Wicker Man (original), The Killing of a Sacred Deer, Under the Skin, pretty much everything from David Lynch, etc.

I personally like all of these films, and love most of them. Because of that, I am curious to know what other films may be lurking around that have not come across my radar that may also be worth a watch, or even a purchase.

I know that most of what I listed would probably fall under the horror genre, but I am sure there has to be some great "weird" titles out there that aren't horror at all. Perhaps a highly stylized drama with a "thinking man's" narrative or plot structure.

What say you? What are your favorite "weird" films, or films that fall outside of the easily digested commercial world of films?

EDIT: I was asked to keep building a database in this post, so here we go!
