I was curious if anyone knows yet about the special features for the original trilogy blu-ray reissues. My hope is that they are keeping things quiet to surprise us with the original theatrical versions.

I think they're just reissues of the older release.
Could have just checked this thread: https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=141915 |

I just saw them all in a nearby Target and they do not appear to have any disc based bonus features. It says they may have digital bonus content though. The slipcovers/cover art are gorgeous, but this is an easy pass for me.

They are the same discs that have been released several times. The only difference is the inclusion of the digital copies.

Call me when they release the unaltered version of the original trilogy. I haven't bought them since I got the DVD releases with them on it and I never will again till they release the theatrical cuts on blu ray.
I mean if some random internet people can do it I refuse to believe Disney cant. |

DVD is twenty-two years old, Blu-Ray is thirteen years old, and it is absolutely unacceptable that we've never gotten anamorphic widescreen presentations of the Unaltered Versions with digitally restored audio. |

Pass, I will buy the 4K rereleases only...unless they release the original trilogy...which they won't...but if they did, I'd pay extra, like a lot extra
