Default Star Wars 2019 blu-ray reissues

I was curious if anyone knows yet about the special features for the original trilogy blu-ray reissues. My hope is that they are keeping things quiet to surprise us with the original theatrical versions.

They’re most likely the exact same discs already released but with digital copy and a different slip cover.

I think they're just reissues of the older release.

Could have just checked this thread: https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=141915

Sorry, I did a quick search for Star Wars 2019 and didn't come up with anything.

I just saw them all in a nearby Target and they do not appear to have any disc based bonus features. It says they may have digital bonus content though. The slipcovers/cover art are gorgeous, but this is an easy pass for me.

They are the same discs that have been released several times. The only difference is the inclusion of the digital copies.

Call me when they release the unaltered version of the original trilogy. I haven't bought them since I got the DVD releases with them on it and I never will again till they release the theatrical cuts on blu ray.

I mean if some random internet people can do it I refuse to believe Disney cant.

The only way there will be another massively successful home video release of the Original Trilogy is if those Original Theatrical Unaltered versions are fully restored and included.

DVD is twenty-two years old, Blu-Ray is thirteen years old, and it is absolutely unacceptable that we've never gotten anamorphic widescreen presentations of the Unaltered Versions with digitally restored audio.

Pass, I will buy the 4K rereleases only...unless they release the original trilogy...which they won't...but if they did, I'd pay extra, like a lot extra

With Lucas recently, for the first time in 20 years, allowing the original theatrical Star Wars to be screened by the Academy (in70mm), that has to mean something doesn't it!?

But, Lucas will say that it does doesn't mean something. And that he meant it to mean something but he never planned for it to mean something.

It's got nothing to do with "can't".

That thread is for the versions that came out in 2005, not 2019.

No release came out in 2005.
Especially a Blu-ray.
Blu-ray was September 2011
2004 was a dvd release
These are the same disks as the 2011
