Okay its not THAT urgent, but Im buying in the next week or so. I cant choose. There is a price gap there but is there a real difference between them? They both look to be very good receivers that will last many years.
I played with both of them at the local Best Buy, but I cant choose. I was going to get an HK AVR 347 but they have been plagued by problems with the HDMI on them as have the AVR247. The Pioneer Elite is the only other receiver that to ME, sounds neutral/warm for 2 channel music which is very important to me. Its use will be 60/40 for music, 40% being movies and games. Thanks for any help with this. ![]() |

I don't know what kind of speakers you're pushing, but if you're serious about your audio, I say go the Tim Allen route and get more power with the 92. Chances are you could probably interchange them in your home with no difference. If you can't decide, you don't want buyer's remorse later on thinking you should have picked up the 92. If money is no object, again I say go with it.

+1 for the 92. I have it and love it. Sounds fantastic and more inputs as well. You'll probably be happier with 92. BTW check the hot deals section on the 92. I got my for 849 shipped.

Hey you could go with the 94, that's what I got. I know it's more money but I love it. Plus I got mine at a locale buzz shop and talked them down to 999.99 for it. You don't always have to pay what the tag say's. Talk to the sales man and see if they are willing to work with you. I was going to go with the 92 until I talked them down on the 94.
