Do you mean you're not getting the 3D picture you saw at a Best Buy demoing BD on a Sony or Samsung LCD?

Since your proj. doesn't display 1080p, I'm guessing it does not have the capability to project at 120Hz (or any multiple of 24Hz). Do a search on these forums and you will read more about it, but that is why.

Okay, that's why. Your proj. refreshes at 60Hz, that 120Hz is what gives the 3D look, in a nutshell.

Do you mean that fake 3D look or the depth look that is like the theater experience? Those displays at the stores are factory set. I found myself having to fix one at Best Buy the other day because it looked so 3D that I thought Milla Jojovich was going to fall off onto the floor. Literally looked detached from the rest of the film.

I'd visit some sites that talk about calibrating your projector and see how you can tune things before considering replacing the gear.

pretty sure HDMI (if your projector has the input for it) is the first thing you need to do... component only goes to 480P

Despite what anyone says, no special paint is as good as a dedicated Projector Screen..... if you're looking at a 100" screen, the STARTING price should be about $400, the cheap ones are just that....

Component goes to 1080p if the display supports it, otherwise it usually tops out at 1080i.

I am an Audio Visual Technician. I the guy at the trade shows that hooks up all the components. The best part is even though HDMI is the new standard when Toshiba and sony did there trade shows everything was run component. It's cheaper and still does 1080p

I'm also a wholesaler. So if anyone needs a special cable let me know and i can provide much cheaper then bestbuy or anyone. my cost on a 25ft hdmi is under $40.
