Default Is it safe to buy Pirates: COTBP yet?

Is there a way to tell which ones on store shelves are the ones with the framing issue fixed? Like a different SKU number.

I'm guessing they're waiting for that to be fixed before releasing the trilogy Box set. Think we'll know about it as soon as it comes out, don't you think ?

It isn't a big enough issue that anyone would care about, really.

the framing issue could literally not be any less significant than it is. the only reason disney changed it is because it is still early, and they were gonna have to produce more anyway because blu will start getting more popular.

There was a press release back in December that Disney had started pressing new versions...

With how this series has sold from day one, I would bet that it is safe to purchase now without any problems.

And, if you find yourself owning the bad one...just email em...they are awesome.

Can someone explain what the framing issue is? It's a problem I have never encountered and not really sure what it is?

Exactly. It's such a minor issue you can't even notice it. Does not affect a THING. Don't worry about it, Tommy.

Even if you do get a mis-framed copy, you contact Disney and send in the bad disc and they send you the fixed one. Not a problem. No risk involved.

Now that somebody asking about this defect releases, those that the studios are replacing, including Pirates 2 and Terminator 3, have the replaced them in the stores?

I mean, if we buy now, will it still be the old ones? They shouldn't just replace to those tha already bought it, but to those in the stores too..

If it makes you feel better I just receive my free copy of POTC from the 5 free offer and it does not have the framing issues.
