Default How Do I Rollback Firmware Samsung....

BD-P1000?? I have V 1.0 on a disc and would like to rollback to that to watch BD-R authored discs. I currently have the latest firmware, which I think is 1.3 or 1.4. When I put the 1.0 disc into the player it doesn't automatically launch the firmware check/update. Can someone help walk me through this, please? Thanx a million.

I have the Philips BDP9000 which is basically the same unit (for the most part) and according to Philips tech support rolling back the firmware version to a previous one is definitely NOT recommended as it can ruin your player.

So if you end up doing it, do so with caution.
