Default Argh... Overscan

We recently had a robbery at our building, unfortunately it happened while we were gone (luckily I had my PS3 and Blu-Ray collection with me). So now we're stuck with a Full-Screen Samsung TX-R2765 for a while. The one thing that bothers me is the overscan, is there anyway to fix it?

Thanks for the help

Maybe you're on TV set from "It takes a Thief" on Discovery Channel. I hope you'll get your stuff back. If you're really serious, then I'm very sorry to hear that.

You may be able to adjust the HSize and VSize under the service menu of the set. Sometimes they are put under geometry.

Standard warnings apply, remember settings before you mess with the service menu.

get something else with the quickness. Blu Ray on that set is nearly a crime in itself.

edit- Actually after looking it up,.. it's not so bad. Do you just have overscan on the sides since the picture should be window-boxed typically? I would assume the set to have some on screen controls for geometry.

EDIT AGAIN.. I googled the overscan problem on your set and found this..

1. TV turned off
2. Press 'Mute' then '182' then 'Power' buttons on the remote.
You are now in the Adjustment mode
4. Use the 'Channel up'or"Channel dwn' to select the category.
5. Use the 'Volume up or dwn' to enter the category.
note:Some models may not have Category Selection.
6. Use the 'Channel up or dwn' buttons to select item to be adjusted.
7. Write down the old value of the item before changing.
8. Use Volume up and down adjust the value.
9. When you have made all the adjustments you want turn the set off to exit.

Now like paypal me $0.35 so I can go get a Zebra Cake.
