Default Want to see Nightbreed on Blu-ray uncut? HELP!!!

There is a movement to get this film released with the additional sequences that Clive Barker did for the film finally added in. Problem is, Fox doesn't think there is any interest! Show them they are wrong!!

Help the movement here!

Good looking out, I sent my support. I get the impression from reading on the site that they don't think the film is worth a Blu release period, let alone uncut? Ridiculous. Great movie and I would love to see that extra 25 minutes.

I enjoyed this & would like to see an extended cut for sure... Pretty sure that Warner Bros. are the current rights-holders & not Fox, as they released the R1 DVD & 2001 VHS for Nightbreed(although the footage may be in Fox's vaults).

Perhaps if Nightbreed is remade, there would be enough of an audience to warrant a blu-ray release and if a remake is SUCCESSFUL, then it may warrant a director's cut. Here's to hoping.

Did Warner Bros lose the rights to this film? I thought for sure WB's released the previous DVD release, I also have the Danny Elfman score CD to the film.

Here's what should happen. Fox or WB, whoever the hell owns it should sell the damn rights to Anchor bay/Starz or Blue Underground - two companies who would give it the respect and recognition it deserves.

They might do that - after they release the theatrical version and it's on the market for a year or so.

Blue Underground? I hope not...I'll take my chances with Starz.

What's wrong with Blue Underground? But seriously, if Fox or whoever doesn't wanna lose money on this then the most logical thing to do is sell the rights and make money.

It's funny. Hellraiser has never been mistreated on home video. And it is certainly the more recognized of the films Clive Barker has made, but Nightbreed in its director's cut form will surely be a better film than Hellraiser was.

I'd like to see this happen. Fox has let Anchor Bay/Starz release a few titles for them, however Warner does not do this. Warner let Criterion etc. do it back in the 'ol laserdisc days, but won't even let Criterion touch their films now. Rumor is that they may do it at a director's request.
