Question Who's Watched UK Face/Off?

Oh man. I just remembered that the UK cut of Face/Off removed the butterfly knife stuff... Does anyone know if the UK Blu-ray has the cut, or if it is uncut?? I'm gonna feel REAL stupid if it is cut....

Since you are all WORTHLESS, I did some research. Guess what people... Our imported Face/Off BDS have 7 seconds cut out of it. Not violence. Not sex. John Travolta demonstrating how a butterfly knife works. That is what has been cut. I feel like a moron for buying this. Oh well. Live and learn.... GODDAMNED BBFC!!!

Not that big of a cut, I'd rather have the movie with 7 seconds cut than not have it at all

Yes your'e the same kind of person who living in the UK back in the 80's & 90's who was happy to watch Bruce Lees Way of the Dragon with all the fight scenes cut out or Horror films with all the gore cut out. Quite the film fan are'nt you?

Yes I am quite the film fan with a growing collection of 150+ Blu rays!. How long is it gonna take for Face/Off to come out in the US? No one knows with it being Paramount over here. I would much rather have it with 7 seconds cut, than to simply not be able to watch it AT ALL!!! I'll be able to get the US version if and when it does come out!

"It's just seven, we're seven seconds away, but just as long as I stay, I'll be waiting."

Me I couldn't care less about the butterfly scene - it's from Disney and has PCM so I'll be happier than a hog in doodoo when my copy comes.

They didn't cut the scene. They cut the shot where Travolta shows her how to open it. Can you verify that, please?

And also, yes, I'll live. But I will dump this disc in second if it gets released here on Blu-ray, I can promise you that. I imported Kung Fu Hustle for 2 shots of poop, so I have some principles on the matter. Speaking of which, who knows the best way to get the uncut version of Casino Royale that will play on a region A machine?

Hehe your a moody little thing aren't ya?

Ok thanks for clarifying, no the the bit where he twist and turns the knife is NOT in there, i thought you meant the scene, my apologies. But get the movie anyway its good and a fat dancer swirling a knife around isn't gonna make much difference....

Australian Version or Finnish Version. I can confirm first-hand that the Australian Version is Region free and fully uncut.

You know I was actually thinking about this after the first post. I thought "how could they cut that out of the movie? She stabs him in the leg with it!!!" But now I see that it was just the opening of the knife they cut. Do we see her open it at the end of the movie to stab him in the leg? Or is it just kinda like "whoa! he's magically stabbed in the leg by a phantom knife!!! that sucks dude!!!"

I would have suggested ezydvd based of hearing from various forums they were good, but they seem to be sold out. I got mine off ebay from a very nice seller. I would look there. Got mine for around $45 US total (including shipping).

Its identical to the US release (PQ and SQ), except being uncut.

Sorry for going off topic in the Face/Off Thread....I'll post pictures of the Australian version in a new thread when I can find my camera later on.
