Italy Airplane! (Jim Abrahams, Jerry Zucker, Robert Hays, Leslie Nielsen, November 2024!)

Looking forward to this.

Fact of the day:

That's what it was called in Australia.

Well, with all the easy access to cannabis it certainly has more meaning in the Netherlands

Most Australians I've come across still refer to it as Flying High, with many wondering what the hell you're on about if you mention "Airplane".

Some say it was to avoid confusion with the Airport films, others that it was renamed to cash in on the ill-fated TV series of the same name, which had encountered some success Down Under.

They certainly stuck with it, though...

I would have went for that but I already have the France Steelbook for The Naked Gun on 4K.

Airplane! will do me although Airplane II would have been great.

Never mind a TV show. "AIRPLANE" makes no sense to real English speakers, there is no such thing. Unless they changed it to "AEROPLANE!", IT MAKES NO SENSE! Flying High was a better option than "AEROPLANE!"

It was mainly to have it a play on "Airport", which was one of the inspirations for it, aside from Zero Hour.
