Default Singulus to Go Blu-ray Exclusive

http://www.reuters.com/article/compa...45643120080218

Quote:
FRANKFURT, Feb 18 (Reuters) - German CD and DVD equipment maker Singulus (SNGG.DE: Quote, Profile, Research) said prospects for sales had improved after a competing product to Blu-ray high-definition discs, for which it makes production machines, looked set to be abandoned.

The Singulus spokesman reiterated the company planned to sell 15 types of Blu-ray machines this year as there was no clarity yet about new orders.

The end of the format war would likely start to show up in Singulus's order books by the end of this year, SES Research analyst Malte Schaumann said. He added that a "significant improvement" would likely come in 2009.
