Default Bluray experience

Hi

I got my surround sound today (samsung same as my tv) but i dont know how to connect this to my ps3 so that i can get the complete bluray experience.

I currently have the ps3 and the home cinema system connected to my tv through HDMI but i can only hear through the surround sound when the dvd player with my home cinema is playing the dvd. Which means i cannot use it for bluray. (PS3).

Has anyone got the 5.1 samsung home cinema linked so they can hear it through their ps3?

If the HTIB has the toslink use that for audio, you have to change some setting on the PS3, PCM to Bitestream & I think the PS3 needs to be told Not to send out audio via HDMI. I don't have a PS3 so I can't tell you where to look for the settings, but it probly will say 'HDMI setup' or somethng like.
