Default Dear Paramount

Now HD-DVD is finally dead please give us Blu's a decent version of Transformers 7.1 loss less audio would be much appreciated. Do not (and I cant stress this enough) palm us off with the same HD-DVD version!

Thank-you

I fully agree.

I hope the Bay has some imput here.
I want the Blu version of TF to exceed the quality and extras of the DUD version.

Nice letter, but Michael Bay says he will overlook the conversion of "Trans-motherfrikken-formers" onto BD himself. No "Warner seconds" here.

"Trans-motherfrikken-formers" is the tamer version of what the cast was calling the movie. It was just so mind blowingly phenominal that's what they called it.

And by the way, Paramount, do you feel stupid for taking money to join the losing format when you could have made more by selling movies on Blu-ray? You should. Think about it.

Yeah, Bay said it. Rest easy knowing he'll maximize the BD format.

Default When?

Thats my question...when do you think Transformers will come out on Bluray?

I think it will be a while...like a few months. It honestly wouldn't surprise me if it came out this Holiday 08. Just to coincide with all the traffic that goes with shopping.

Also though it would give Bay and the studio a lot of time to make sure its absolutely PERFECT & packed full of extras that will make it worth the high amount of money they'll probably charge.

Anyways I can't wait to see it on Bluray. It was one of the titles that almost had me buy an HD DVD player but thank God I held off on that.

Why does everyone think Paramopunt blew it? They made WAY more money taking the payoff. It was like a farm subsidy for not growing things. Hi def disks are still small potatoes revenue wise and if Paramount gets to keep 150 million that's probably more profit then all the other studios made together. And now they'll jump right in with no kind of penalty and sell like everyone else. They may have prolonged the war and backed the wrong side but they made out like bandits in the end.

Aye, they played everyone for chumps and got paid handsomely for it.

Paramount are definitely the biggest winners in the short lived format war.
