Thumbs up Lamest HD-DVD argument ever?

Im trying to handle this "War" as intelligently and professionally as possible but some of the arguments im getting are ridiculous. Here is one I pulled from AVS as i dont have an account there I will vent here and again if anyone who does have an account there wants to steal my argument and bring it there then go right ahead.

"If you want JAWS, JURRASIC PARK, CLASSIC HITCHCOCK, INSIDE MAN, BOURNE IDENTITY and later in 2007 BOURNE ULTIMATUM, UNITED 93, AMERICAN PIE, SLAP SHOT, AMERICAN GRAFFITI, SCARFACE, CARLITO'S WAY, TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD, CAPE FEAR, CASPER, MUNICH, BRUCE ALMIGHTY, E.T., BACK TO THE FUTURE etc. on Hi Def you have to have a HD DVD player. They will make sure the public knows it."

My Argument is...Is that it? That is the bullet that HD-DVD owners are hoping to sway undecided people with? Ive stated my case over here but I wish the people over there would realize that STAR WARS 1-6, PIRATES 1 -3, SPIDERMAN 1 - 3, ALIENS 1- 4, DIE HARD 1 -3, AND THE ENTIRE DISNEY/PIXAR VAULT absoultely and undeniably demolishes that list. and those are just a few of the thousands and thousands of exlclusive BD companies titles.
I mean dont get me wrong I love Jurassic Park but that guy listed Inside Man as their 3rd example. I mean get real. Why cant we all stop being format lovers and haters and just simply follow the movies. Thats what I am and I will follow my movies wherever that takes me and right now It seems like my path is down the Blu Brick Road.

So If any HD fans read this or if someone is kind enough to repost this over there then quit complaining and quit calling blu ray fins idiots. We just want to watch Beautiful High Definiton Movies and Everyone (with the exception of Universal Studios) understands that.

Slap Shot might be HD DVD's magic bullet

Seriously though we might be talking as many as 10 essential films in that list...

Let me guess the bullet may have been fired from James Bond's gun. Now let me see what would be most popular Casino Royale or to kill a mocking bird (even though it is an excellent read). Look out I'm off to buy a HD-DVD player woops forgot they are not available here yet. I think I will wait until they appear on Blu Ray and they will, I just don't know when.

Casino Royale will be huge on Blu-Ray.

Eventually the entire Bond collection will get (yet another) release, but that's the one I'll go for, having resisted the previous ones.

Back to the Future kind of hurts. I was looking forward to that title. I guess I have to wait just a bit longer for Universal to see the light.

BTTF probably won't be on any High Def disc until a year at least.

As long as you don't mind a little Cantonese in your menus, I'm sure its coming:

Columbia (Sony) owns distro of some Universal films in what was Region 3.

BTTF was not only late but Universal SCREWED IT UP MAJORLY! And the funny thing is that they still haven't fixed it completely. For American R1 versions, that's fine but not for R3! People are still wondering if it's safe to buy this release. I just hope that by the time Universal gets the HD version done, the framing would be correct.

Would you trust people who flip-flopped so badly when things don't go their way? It's an indication something is terribly wrong. For them.

Sad, but that's what it shows.. Some of my friends are driving me nuts with their constant HD-DVD fudding. I just sit quietly and smile
