I want the 70" XBR.
However, I have an issue with Sony's pricing. Lets look at PPI (price per inch) on thier XBR4 line. I am using todays discounted MSRP from Sony Style. KDL-40XBR4 @ $2,299.99 = $57.50 per inch KDL-46XBR4 @ $2,999.99 = $65.28 per inch KDL-52XBR4 @ $3,599.99 = $69.20 per inch KDL-70XBR3 @ $32,999.99 =$471.43 per inch....WTF? ![]() ![]() I might buy one if it were around $80.00 per inch, which would be $5,600.00. Or even $90.00 per inch at $6,300.00......in fact I would POUNCE on it for that. Any industry folks here that could help explain how SONY justifies this? Of course beligerent, sarcastic, funny comments are welcome as well. |
