Sorry, I can't help you on that one. You can find help in the DBStalk.com forums.

I would check the cable connections. Why type of cables are you using to connect the DirecTV receiver to the TV? I don't think it is the receiver. For example, if you connect DirecTV to two TVs and use HDMI connection to one and regular coax cable to the other (channel 3) and turn both TVs on at the same time, you will notice a big time delay between the two TVs as far as sound is concerned.

I have also experienced this in the past and it only seems to be on my local programming. I went through the Directv help forums and discovered it was a common problem with no fix (at that time). It still happens every now and then on my local HD channels.

Same here. I was told that it would be fixed with an update in the future. Small nuisance so I am not really worried about it.

Sometimes reversing with the quick reverse button once will fix it. Othertimes I have had to unplug the receiver for a few seconds.

Not the best way to connect speakers. Perhaps, you should invest in a decent A/V receiver and connect your DirecTV receiver, DVD player, VHS, etc. to the A/V receiver and then connect the speakers and the TV to the A/V receiver.

I have a couple channels does that, there is no fix for it. I adjust the audio time delay in my Anthem processor and it help but other than that we are out of luck until Directv send a fix via software upgrage.
