Default So Mad

So I sold a guy my ps3 version of army of two on ebay. He sent payment and I shipped the item. Today he cancelled payment. Paypal won't do anything about it. I am screwed. That guy can go to hell. I am done with ebay, never again

As long as its his real address and not someone he knows...

I remember one scammer used a address of a local pizza parlor, and sent a associate to pick up the package.

In that case the scammer didn't know that he was scammed by a person who likes to do pranks.

tsk tsk tsk..

You have to think about the emotional distress, the fear of people generated by this transaction..

This could have life altering consequences.. the person should be required to pay him a life settlement.

It's not to say what he did was right in any way (though I may have given him some window of opportunity to maybe get in touch and figure out what was going on), but this is why whenever I sell I ALWAYS send it straight to my bank, and I NEVER ship an item until those funds have completely transferred.

I work at Target and I am need of money. Hence I sold the game on E-bay. Now I'm in worse shape then I was. If someone would have bought that stupid game on here when I put it up for sale that would have saved me so much trouble. Damn EA producing games that no one on here would by from me.

Me too. But this guy was like hey I just sent payment. I could only use an e-check. Can't wait to get the game, thanks. Then he confirmed his address and was so nice. I got had....had.....had.

Again, unless he provided a fake address and is going to pick it up there...if he is in fact scamming, he's either extremely dumb in giving out his correct address (a DISTINCT possibility -- LOL) or smart enough not to give out the correct one...

He did the e-check through Paypal. And Paypal says they can't do anything about him cancelling it. Great customer service, I'll tell you that.

i sold some movies on highdefdigest and a couple people paid echeck and i told them that i would not ship the movies until the echeck cleared, fortunately they were cool with that, but i had a bad experience like that with a psp.
