Default Who has a PS3 and a stand alone?

Just curious to see who out there has a stand alone BD player and a PS3. Do you use the PS3 strictly for gaming or do you watch movies on it too?

I have a PS-3 60gb connected to a 37" 1080p Westinghouse in my bedroom.

I have a Pioneer/Elite BDP-94HD standalone connected to a Pioneer/Elite PRO-110FD 50" 1080p KURO in my living room.

I use the PS-3 for gaming and watching movies. I downloaded the latest firmware and am anxious to receive War from Netflix tomorrow, so I can check out BD Live.

We use my son's PS3 to play any Blu-ray discs our P-O-S Samsung BD-P1200 refuses to play correctly.
This will be quickly remedied when the Panasonic DMP-BD50 debuts!

I have a PS3 and two stand alone players. My PS3 was my first Blu-ray player, and I had over 60 blu-ray movies before I purchased my first stand alone player.

I have had to do that on a few occasions when my BDP-94HD froze up.

I guess it is nice to have something to fall back on.

I do. The PS3 was originally a BD player, then I got the Pio 95 for movies and the PS3 serves game/linux pc/media client duties.

I do and I also use mine to play games. My main reason for getting a PS3 was for gaming, being a Blu ray player is just a huge bonus.

Probably by the end of the year for me. The only thing I'd use the PS3 for Blu wise is 1.1/2.0 features as far as Blu goes, and only until I upgrade to the BD50, or preferably its Pioneer equivalent. PS3 strictly for gaming and some media playback

I've got limited space where I've got my set up, so my PS3 doubles as my Blu player. I've yet to have any problems with it and don't see the point in upgrading just yet.

I have a ps3 in my room, but hooked upto my projector is a BDP-S1, It's a monster, but i still think it's the best player money can buy. I sold more s300 and s500s for sure, but quality-wise, they can't compare

I have both a stand alone BD player and a PS3 60gb. I am going to be replacing the stand alone when SONY brings the 550 BD-Live ready player on the market. Long Live PS3

I have a PS3 where I rarely use it for gaming. It's my main movie player & I don't really have a "stand alone" but I have a BluRay player drive on my computer where I can also watch BDs on my computer LCD 22' monitor...great stuff!!!

I got my PS3 to basically replace my standalone.

Last summer (around late June/early July) I received the Samsung BD-P1200 player as an award where I work. I can't complain too much since I got it for free, but over time I got really fed up with the long periods of time for getting firmware updates for newer discs, so back in December I got an 80GB PS3 and have been using that for my main BD player ever since.

I still have the 1200, but I really don't use it much anymore.
