Independence Day - Blu-ray Problem - Blu-ray Forum

Hey Guys

I just bought INDEPENDENCE DAY on Blu Ray and noticed for the 1st time it's very choppy on the menu screen......does this happento anybody else?

UPDATE 4/01/08 ---- Did a firmware upgrade....that did it for me...Thanks guys for your support. ID4 is running smoothly now :-) OMG...sounds is amazing for this film!!

Haven't noticed any choppy on the menu screen. How does the movie play? OK? Does your BD player need any firmware up-dates?

My copy plays flawlessly so it could just be in need of firmware update.

I have watched Independence Day on Blu-ray with no problems and I have a Samsung BD-1200. If I can play that movie, almost anyone can.

Hmm...saw this title thread and thought the problem was this Blu-Ray cost too much...$34.99 list price- whatever.

My copy plays fine.

Mine also plays fine on my Sony BDS300. You might just need a firmware update or you have a bad copy, check your firmware and if its up to date, go exchange it.
