Since there currently is only an "East Coast" version of Global HD... I'm able to avoid Simsubs by recording all U.S. shows airing on that network on the "West Coast" U.S. HD networks rather then the East Coast ones (in Canada, we are allowed to have both and East and West coast set of U.S. networks ).

As soon as Bell Expressvu starts carrying a West Coast version of Global HD... it's very likely that the West Coast American Networks will be plagued by Simsubs (poor AQ & PQ vs. original U.S. Network feed). To make matters worst, the "E" channel is now also getting an HD version (half the Global U.S. poached shows air on the "E" channel rather then on the actual Global network) and Canadians can look forward to even more Simsubs

I'm praying Bell Epressvu uses the "excuse" of no more room to add new channels and delays picking up these garbage U.S. poaching POS Canadian networks for as long as possible. The day these get added on Bell Expressvu and Simsubs are applied is the day I need to get myself a black market DirecTV sub (cheers for content... jeers for cost...)

Its strict purpose is blu-ray movies, and ps3, ps2, ps one games.

I don't understand the question --> For whom? You or me? A simsub would not affect HD or SD.

Regardless... neither Global or "E" broadcast Hockey Games so it's makes no difference. American networks don't broadcast hockey games either... with the exception of lame ass NBC's weekend afternoon coverage... which is always carried in duplicate on TSN anyway. Playoff hockey should NEVER be played in the afternoons We've got Gary Bettman to thank for that bullshit

P.S. The Montreal Canadiens have ALL 82 of their regular season games broadcasted in HD on RDS. Playoffs are carried on both RDS, TSN & CBC... all in HD.

So very wrong! Versus shows games on Monday and Tuesday nights and is showing two games a night EVERY night during the first round of the playoffs right now. NBC usually starts later in the season but shows a game on Sunday afternoon. My local Fox Sports channel shows nearly every game of my beloved Blue Jackets. And HD NET shows an HD game every Thursday and Saturday night.

When I say "American Networks"... I'm talking about the BIG 4 (ABC, FOX, CBS & NBC).

Then say the big 4. Networks means ANY channel. The fact is I can see NHL hockey here almost every night of the week, and that is without buying the NHL Center Ice package.
