I was eating some ribs the other night and there was a cluster of hairs on the end of one of them. I'm pretending it didn't get dropped on the floor, but that's probably what happened. Of course I noticed it after I had eaten my way from the other end, only to be greeted by said hairs.

Hair is pretty gross, but it's not nearly so bad as what you can't see: Boot on the steak, mucus on the half shell, but the worst is the urine in the donuts. I did not do these things, but I know they happened in the Metro Detroit area circa 1987 or earlier.

I had a friend in high school who worked at Wendy's. He said everything was cool . . . except the chili. Bad things were done to the chili.

"Waiting" really changed my approach to situations in restaurants, and service places in general. Even if the problem is absolutely ridiculous, I'm always overly nice to the person I'm dealing with. I've never been rude, but after seeing that . . . I just go the extra mile.
