Default Monster vs No Name cables?

Is there any big differences between the two? Is the quality of monster really worth the 60 extra bucks or whatever it is online? I just purchased a tv and it was extremely hard to walk out of the store without a cable, so I will need to order one online tonight. thanks for any help.

Not really.

If you want one now, just go to a local/indie computer supply store and they often carry HDMI and DVI cables as they are usually sold in ziplock-style bags and cheaper.

Don't waste the money on Monster, just be sure to get a good high quality cable. There are places where the investment in Monster can be rationalized, and those places are analog sound

Thanks guys. I called some computer stores but they were out or too expensive so I went and ordered two cables from monoprice. Even with expediated shipping they were about as cheap as anything I can find, and I'm sure they'll be fine for now. Even with a bad cable the difference between the new tv and my old sdtv will be large enough to make me thrilled.
