Default I'm watching it now

I got it today from:

http://www.axelmusic.com/productDetails/097361401546

I remember watching it in the movie theatre back in 1997 and on DVD release few years later...

Heared there was a Directors Cut version to be released, not on this Blu :-(

I love this film as well, it's so eerie - positively macabre! Great to watch with company and def a first day pickup as well!

I remember not liking this movie back when but it was quite awhile ago. I cannot remember anything about it though so I think I'll rent it and try it again.

A great scary movie. Maybe the best horror movie ever set in space.

I could swear that when this came out...it wasnt overly popular. So its one of those 'I dont know if I should get it' titles.

I just dont remember a whole lot about it.

I dont know...I guess I will read some reviews...and maybe check it out.

Almost none of the critics like this movie. It's got a 22% on Rotten Tomatoes. For me, though, aside from the Alien movies, it's the best of the genre. I don't get all the hating. It's not a particularly "smart" film, but it's not supposed to be. I find that it serves its purpose very well, and it definitely scared the crap out of me when I was younger.

I don't remember hearing anything about it when it came out in theaters but it sure has gathered a strong following. Glad they picked up on it and delivered the Blu. This is high on my list of purchases.

I picked this up at Best Buy today, tonight I'll see if it holds up as well as the memory of it since seeing it like 10 years ago.

The cover for it i think is great. They haven't tried to update it and make look more. It's completely fitting towards the time period it was released in unlike the primal fear cover.
