Default Best TVersity settings to stream HD to PS3?

Just curious if anyone has good TVersity settings to stream HD to your ps3. I have a few HD files that I try to stream, but they don't stream very well... Studder etc. I can download them to the ps3s harddrive and they playback fine. It just takes forever. I have a good wireless signal (100%). So I guess I need to tweak it somehow to get good playback.

Thanks.

Hi Mate, I suggest changing the video resolution (within TVersity) to 1080x760 for wireless, I have mine higher (I'll check later today to see what).

My best bit of advise if you want to stream video to your PS3, get wired!

In plain english from what I could see, regardless of your network speed your media server (eg pc+tversity) will only stream as a solid rate of 10.1mbps,opposed to wireless which will thrash your network card at 100mbps - Easily sustainable to stream BluRay media.

I do have a 1gb NIC, but it tends to bluescreen my pc more often than not because of the router going "why are you trying to kill me".

It also depends what you are streaming, I found that having low quality video - and setting the resolution higher often results in really poor playback, not so much laggy - But you can clearly see distortion on the screen.

Whereas if you are streaming HD copies of battlestar galactica in 1080, best go with that res!

Also, whats the size/hd-res of your TV?
