Default doubts about dynamic contrast ratio

i just read in another thread posted here that the new hdtv from Samsung LN52A750 was phenomenal, way better than 550 and 650 but according to its specs it says its only 50,000 dynamic contrast ratio against an old model from Samsung model LN-T5281F which is 500,000.000. Could someone please help me understand which is better, which would produce the best blacks..

Ah, the old Dynamic vs. Static contrast ratio debate. I can't find the static ratio for the 5281 anywhere - but on a personal note, I find the new A750 much better. Maybe it's the aesthetics, but go figure, they are slightly cheaper. Blacks aside though.

Here's a review of the 4681 from cnet.com.

Check out the review for the A750 as well, I think it's in there somewhere.
