Default How to get OTA 5.1 audio?

So I was going to pick up an Antenna for my TV to check out my local OTA HD channels. But how would I go about getting the 5.1 Dobly Digital? My A/V Receiver (Pio VSX92thx) doesn't have any kind of TV Antenna input. And my TV (Samsung LNT4665) only passes 2 channel stereo as far as I know. Anyone know of a way to get that 5.1 audio?

I think you need to have an optical out from your tv.

From what I've read the optical out on my tv outputs only stereo.

Does the front of your TV, or anywhere else on it, say Dolby Digital? If so, then it can do 5.1 via optical output. If not, it will only output stereo, which isn't common with optical outs.

pg.11 in user manual states:

DIGITAL AUDIO OUT (OPTICAL)

"5.1CH audio is possible when the TV is connected to an external device supporting 5.1CH."

...If you can get 5.1 audio from OTA, then it should be able to pass 5.1 to the receiver.

but don't quote me...

On my sony 60a3000 I run the optical out to my yamaha receiver, if the OTA station is broadcasting 5.1 it shows up at my receiver as 5.1
