For years now we have known that a DVD could show a
far better picture then what we are getting on the disk today. Most DVD movies today are no larger then 4 GB even when the media disk is wasting about 3GB or more. I have rented many DVD only to find it packed with compression noise, and every low bit rate. I have seen a lot of DVD movies compressed all the way down 3400 Kpbs. The days of 8000 Kbps DVD's are gone. Now I am starting to worry about the Blu ray format I hope they keep the picture quality and sound high |
