But it's region B, so over there it might be distributed by a different company.

Amazon.uk has the studio listed as Optimum something or other...Don't have time to check myself right now, but if anyone is familiar with any others BDs they've done it might give you a good idea whether it'll be locked or not (if that's a concern for anyone).

Optimum Home Entertainment has released the following BDs in the UK:

Wolf Creek
The Host
Pan's Labyrinth

So if anyone here owns these UK BDs, they could let us know what region they are.

If you're going by what amazon says...that doesn't mean a whole lot. A LOT of their information is wrong...Even the packaging on BDs is misleading. I have several that are Region A but are not locked and are region-free and I've imported a couple of Region Bs (as per Amazon) myself that play just fine on my US PS3...Course, that doesn't mean that it isn't what it says it is, either.

That said, I want to check out some of those other titles...

These aren't on the site I run mine past. The only one I saw was Pan's Labyrinth and it as New Line.

Maybe someone has them, though...

edit: I found The Host and Pan's Labyrinth on a site I check DTV Forum and they're both region-locked. Doesn't look good for "Diary"...kind of sucks. I wouldn't have minded getting "Wolf Creek" -- I like that flick.
