if listened really closely during the scene where wall e met the human lady, you can hear

"WEAR THE NEW BLUE OUTFIT. BLUE IS THE NEW RED."

Was it me or did anyone else hear it?

yeah it wasn't so soft, they kinda showed how stupid people are (even in today's world) who buy what people tell them to buy. Anywayz i got to go put on my Nikes and polo shirt because i have to go to Target to get the Jay-Z album while sucking down a Big Mac and a Krispy Kreme doughnut

i heard it and immediately thought format war reference, but im not sure if thats what they were going for.

blue and red are two very common colors and are often contrasted.

Even in the Spanish version (I saw here in Mexico) is clear and loud traslated
