Default Is there any news of some of the other Halloween films coming to Blu-ray?

I know about John Carpenter's 1978 Halloween film being on Blu-ray and Rob Zombie's 2007 Halloween film being on Blu-ray. Is there any news about any of the other Halloween films coming to Blu-ray?

i really hope they do release the rest probably in a collector edition at some point but it would be ideal if they were all singles. The 2nd one is all i really want left from this series but i would like to rent the rest of them.

The only other ones I'd buy are Halloween II (1981) and Halloween 4. The rest suck imo.

I was pissed when Rachel got killed off in H5. She was my second favorite heroine next to Laurie.

I will be interested in them, but I have read any news regarding an upcoming release. It appears that the Zombie reboots will be coming to the end as the second installment has under performed at the box office. Can't say that I am sad about that...maybe it will stop Zombie leaving his mark in other horror franchises.

Um....Underperforming movies don't make their budget back in their opening weekend. Like them last time Zombie will wait to be asked to decide to do another Halloween. Here's a good rule-Most horror movies do not underperform.

The budget for H2: Halloween 2 is $18 Million and it made $17.4 Million. Hence we got that announcement of a Halloween 3D for next year.

Oh god, are you serious, another one!? I hope Zombie isn't attached to direct. And what is with the friggin' 3-D craze? I hope it passes soon like a bad rash.

Halloween is one of the few major horror franchises with no 3D movie. If you hate Zombie so much, tell me who you want to direct it.

I honestly wouldn't care, as long as it isn't him or Uwe Boll. I don't enjoy a hillbilly Michael Myers killing white trash. But that's just me...

I think Eli Roth has upped his game big time as an actor. Did you see Inglourious Basterds? His performance was just amazing.

He was good but I think Christoph Waltz (Hans Landa) should be nominated. Maybe Brad Pitt or Diane Kruger.

When Is Roth going back to directing?

I don't know, I've never seen any of Eli Roth's work so I can't judge. And the way the people in Zombie's Halloween films are portrayed IS white trash. And where did I say "Poor = White Trash"? I didn't, you're trying to start something because you don't have the same opinion as me. Get over it. You like his films, I don't, boo hoo.

I'm sure ANCHOR BAY gonna release "H4" and "H5" on Blu-Ray soon !!!
And Universal could release "H2" (1981) someday

but I dont think Disney could release "H6", "H20" and "H8" on bluray, they never release SE of this movies !!!! I hope they sell the rights to ANCHOR BAY !!!!

Default No Love for the Witch

I guess Im the only one here that wants a release of #3 - Season of the Witch. I like the movie and loved the concept of releasing a sequel evey year that took on differnt story lines. If you get past the fact that Michael Myers is not in the movie (Actually he is...There is an ad for Halloween palying on a TV in a bar ) its really not a bad movie. I dont think the transfer would be steller but it would better than an upconverted SD DVD.
