Anyone hear if this movie will be coming to blu-ray sometime in the near future?

The Director's Cut is coming out in the UK on 3/17 if you can't wait (and it's confirmed region-free), though I would imagine the US disc would be out this year some time as well

This is one title that i am waiting on as well. If it does not come out in the U.S. this year i am going to get it from the U.K.

Nope, no region-coding. My Emily Rose and Hostel imports play fine and Hellboy is confirmed to be region-free as well.

I am also going to order Gangs of New York after the price comes down a bit....as it usually does at Amazon UK.

I can't wait to find out if this title will be regional coded or not. It is definitely a must buy for me.

Hi friends, with the spanish PS3 arrival, lots of new titles are being out in my country (Spain). The most interesting for me is Hellboy. The specifications: spanish & english PCM 5.1, spanish & english 5.1. Lots of extra features as: deleted scenes, make-up and lightining, comics, several documentals... The quality of the image is quite good but what I really love from this stuff is the sound. It's amazing (as good as in XXX).

'Hellboy' and 'Meatballs' Coming To Blu-ray Disc
March 26, 2007
Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is expected to shortly announce 'Hellboy' and 'Meatballs' will be released June 5 on Blu-ray Disc with an SRP of $28.95.

Both films will be presented in widescreen 1.85:1 1080p video and PCM 5.1 audio. Additional information like extra features and cut of 'Hellboy,' either theatrical or director's, have yet to be released.

Got my copy of Hellboy from UK on friday. Weekend was real busy so I managed to watch half of the movie, haven't checked extras, but overall PQ was very good IMHO.

I finally got around to watching this last night and all I can say is WOW. The PQ and PCM soundtrack are fantastic; definitely an A+ Blu-ray.

If you can't wait for the US release and want a sure thing import, this is it.

BTW, Hellboy had noticeably fatter case compared to US BDs. Dunno what's up with that. UK BD folks have more shelf space than US BD guys or what
