any rumors, or news on CSI coming to Blu-ray? - Blu-ray Forum

i did a search in both news and forum, and got nothing. so if this has been covered, im sorry.

does anyone know anything about the CSI tv show coming to blu ray? who owns the show? the cases just say CBS. it seems like a popular show, it seems like theyd want to push it to blu ray asap.

I know CSI:Miami looks great on A&E HD, so I imagine the Blus would be fantastic whenever they get around to them.

i dont know German but it says Box 1 of season 5 so i guess its going to be on 2 boxes at least

Yeah, it also says 2 discs. No way they fit the whole season on only 2.

im sure it also says Box 1 so your correct its not a full season.

i dont know European money very well but wouldnt that be crazy expensive to make it into 2 box sets?

it would equal about 89 euro or something which is what the entire prison break season one goes for and that is crazy expensive in aussie dollars.

Paramount hinted earlier this year that they were considering releasing a CSI set this year on HD DVD. With HD DVD gone, a set could very well come to Blu-ray this year, but with Paramount having to change their HDM plans so drastically, it might have been put off. We'll find out!

No hints as to which one... or which season, but I wouldn't be surprised if they start with the first season of their flagship CSI.

Jessica Lucas has been in the latest season.

I'd love that one in HD.

That show is pretty awesome though, no matter who is on.

The only two things I fear on the whole planet now are:

1) Anal Ringworm
2)Forensic science.

you just can't hide from those people.

No news yet. I wish they would. All I know is season 8 is releasing on DVD this month.

In Holland and Belgium S1 and S8 of CSI will be released on blu ray on Mai 1st.

They will have BD Live using the CSI worldwide community.

Well I would guess that most know that Season 1 will be released on Blu on 12 May in the States.
