Well, the thread starter could find links himself instead of asking others to do it. I know of two reviews just from looking around.

Just finished the Blu-ray release a few minutes ago and will be typing my review up tonight.

If you enjoyed the film and own the original DVD, in terms of special features, as with the majority of Paramount releases on Blu-ray this week (excluding "The Machinist" which did have Blu-ray exclusives), same two features and nine deleted scenes. Trailer is HD.

Nice utilization of low frequency booms from the subwoofer as the bombings repeatedly occur in the city. Nice use of directionals with ambiance from the front speakers in terms of audio especially during the rifle and sniper shots but I'll need to go back and check certain scenes because I didn't really catch any rear surround utilization. But I'll be retesting certain scenes for picture quality and audio later this evening.

But I absolutely enjoyed the film when it was released but it all comes down to if you feel the film is worth the double dip. But definitely check back on this site (or other sites you visit for reviews), I'm sure you will see the reviews come up soon. These last two weeks have been busy for releases.

I bought it today. Didnt watch the whole BD yet but i compared a couple of scenes with my DVD version. So far im satisfied, as always the colors looks way more natural on the BD than on the DVD, and you can easily notice the PQ is more detailed. Wouldnt say its the most impressive BD out there, but it's definitely a nice upgrade in my opinion. Worth it if you like the movie.

I looked for it today at my local BB and not a copy was available. Hmmm, I guess I'll keep an eye out or it's amazon here I come.

This movie is AWESOME. It is one of the few WW2 films that is set on the Russian front.

It's brutal and very true to history. I can't speak to the BD transfer quality, but peeking at Amazon the people there seem to like it. I won't pay $20 for it, but once it floats down to around $14-ish it will be in my library pronto.

I dont get how people can say that a person's review is dissapointing. It's their review, if you dont like it; write your own. Really, do you need to complain???

I may be wrong, but I think the disappointment stems from the quality of the release according to the review, not disappointment at the review itself.

You may be right, but only he knows what he meant. Whatever, no need to get into it
