Yup yup

The first step in 'troubleshooting' is actually TRYING. I get the impression from your post that you haven't even bothered to try it out. You need to see if a problem even exists before you go looking for help.

I'm looking at a picture of the back of your set . . . where are the HDMI inputs? I see the inputs for composite, component, and the stereo inputs that are labeled HDMI audio in, but I don't see the actual HDMI inputs. Anyway . . . the cable you got is fine. The HDMI audio ins are probably for devices that don't output audio via HDMI.

The "HDMI Audio In" would be if you were using an HDMI-DVI cable. (this would require RCA cable for audio, hence the connections)

Since you are not, Do not worry about it. Just connect the HDMI cable to the hdmi input and you are set.

I'm looking at another picture and it looks like they connect in the same indented area as the power cable. Odd placement.
